The Irish Palette

Our proposed exhibition at Municipal Gallery, dlr LexIcon would be an showcase with great variety. The exhibition would celebrate the rich diversity, voices and perspectives within the collective. The artists in the Irish Palette Collective are different in our themes and subjects yet we all follow the same set of principles relating to design, value, colour, texture, risk and soul. These principles relate to an intensive art course that all members of The Irish Palette have taken and embraced in their work. All artists in The Irish Palette are full time practicing professional artists living on the island of Ireland.

Art would be created in a variety of media including Acrylic, Oil, Pencil, Pastel and Collage.

We propose to have a number of large impactful paintings in Gallery 1. A mixture of themes will be on display from nature to realism to fantasy and abstract pieces.

In Gallery 2, we propose to showcase a range of smaller pieces, in a mixture of different sizes and mediums. We would display the work in a playful format creating an engaging space showcasing the wide range of artistic styles in The Irish Palette.
